Coolant Booster Pumps
The booster pump is why the back of the bus gets warm. Long coolant runs to rear and underseat heaters need more push than the engine water pump provides at idle — when the booster dies, the complaint is "heat up front, cold in back." We stock 12V and 24V pumps and mounting kits.
Frequently asked questions
How do I test a booster pump?
With the engine warm and heat on, the pump should be audibly running and both pump hoses hot. A hot inlet and cooler outlet, or a pump that hums without flow, means a stripped impeller — common on pumps run dry after a coolant loss.
